LegWorks Product: All-Terrain Knee
Eunice is an 18-year-old from Ghana who was traveling to see her sister when she was involved in a car accident that badly injured her leg. She was rushed to the hospital, but the damage was so severe that the doctors had to amputate her leg to prevent dangerous infection and save her life.
Eunice’s parents did not have much money and could not afford a prosthetic leg. Because she could no longer walk, Eunice stopped attending school and began to lose hope. Fortunately, she received an All-Terrain Knee thanks to our friends at We Help Two in 2018 at no cost to her family. With her newfound mobility, Eunice has returned to school and dreams of becoming a doctor to help others who experience injuries similar to her own.
